This commercial mediation curriculum aims to combine theory and practice, focusing on developing the basic skills and fundamental knowledge for an effective and efficient commercial mediator.
Description
Target audience
Aimed at aspiring or practising professionals in the field of intellectual property with basic training in the following fields: Law, Business Administration and Management, Engineering, Economics, Biochemistry, Translation, Business Management and other related fields. However, due to the importance of Commercial and Intellectual Property Mediation, the potential recipients of the diploma could include people with different educational backgrounds, such as lawyers, economists, psychologists, business administrators, as well as those with diverse professional experience, such as legal professionals lawyers, business judges, managers, and consultants. In general, anyone interested in developing skills to resolve conflicts in the commercial sphere.
Participants' obligations
The assessment systems that will be used to measure student progress and learning will be: written examinations, practical tests, individual or group projects, class participation, research papers, online discussions, etc.
Competencies
Develop effective verbal and non-verbal skills for commercial mediation. Apply active listening and empathy techniques in the mediation process. Develop skills for finding mutually beneficial solutions in commercial disputes. Understand the different phases of the commercial mediation process: from preparation to final agreement. Apply technology to improve efficiency and accessibility in commercial conflict resolution. Develop intercultural sensitivity and skills for managing conflicts in multicultural contexts. Analyse the psychological and emotional aspects involved in commercial conflicts. Apply psychological principles to facilitate communication and collaboration in conflict situations.
