Summary
The course is designed to acquire knowledge of human – environment relations from the point of sustainability. Variety and structures of ecosystems, interaction of population growth, resources depletion and environmental pollution (air, water, and soil), main environmental problems and trends on the local, regional and global scale are presented and discussed with focus on rational and sustainable use of natural resources and their protection.
